Bridging capital and ambition.
Pesewa Rising was built on a simple belief: great African businesses deserve the capital to grow, and investors deserve transparent, credible opportunities to back them.
Small pesewas. Significant impact.
The pesewa is the smallest unit of the Ghanaian currency. Our name reflects a simple belief that small amounts of capital, pooled and directed with care, can grow into something significant for a business, an investor, and a community.
Our logo draws on the Adinkrahene symbol — concentric circles signifying leadership and centrality, and a spiral that speaks to continuous growth. Together, they capture what we are here to do, which is to help good businesses rise.
What we stand for.
Trust earned, not assumed
We earn trust through transparency, rigorous process and consistent honesty. This includes how we discuss and handle risk.
Integrity over volume
We do not list a business we would not be comfortable investing in ourselves. A smaller, better dealflow serves everyone.
Access, responsibly
Investing should not be reserved for the wealthy few, but access without protection is no favour, so we balance the two.
Growth, together
Investors and businesses succeed alongside each other. That is the whole point of “together we grow.”
The people behind Pesewa Rising.
Ours is a board that combines banking, capital-markets, enterprise and governance experience, and is accountable to every investor, issuer and stakeholder on the platform.
